I really ought to apologize for the tone of my last post. To dislike a piece of music is one thing, but to let my dislike turn so readily venomous is distasteful in the extreme. I am truly sorry, and I will try to keep better control of myself in the future.
Seeking to discern what I can about an enigmatic, long-gone house guest with nothing to go on but his left behind iPod.
To begin...
Several weeks ago, under circumstances too complicated to explain here, I opened my home to a total stranger named (or so he said) Lewis Mint. Mint stayed one night at my apartment... A partial night, actually: when I woke up the next morning he was already gone.
He left no trace of his visit save one: his iPod, which I found under the couch a few days later. I'd like to return it to him, but I don't know how to get in touch with him. Short of hiring a private investigator, I have tried everything I can think of to track Mint down, the phone book, Facebook, Myspace, Google and so on, all to no avail.
I'm now convinced that Lewis Mint is not his real name.
So, with nothing better than 80 gigs of mp3s to go on, I've decided to start this blog. Here I will list and describe the albums on Mint's iPod with the twin hopes that a reader who knows Mint will recognize his musical taste and put me in touch with him, or that serious thought about his choice of music will help me to see some previously overlooked clue to his identity or whereabouts.
